1. What is Scanrewards?
ScanRewards is an app that rewards you for your everyday purchases! To do so, simply register your purchases and earn coins. You can then exchange these coins for gift cards from your favorite stores.
2. How to register a purchase on ScanRewards?
To register a purchase on ScanRewards, simply tap the black button at the bottom of your screen. Take a photo of your receipt and you're all set!
3. What kind of receipts can I log on ScanRewards?
You can log both online and offline purchases on ScanRewards. Whether you buy something from a physical store or make an online purchase, you can earn points by sharing the details with us.
Please note: You cannot submit digital receipts, only paper receipts are accepted.
4. What is a good receipts on ScanRewards?
To ensure your receipt is considered valid, it must include the following details:
- The store name where the purchase was made
- The date and time of the purchase
- The total amount
- The list of purchased items
Make sure these details are clearly visible and readable before scanning your receipt.
5. Is there a time limit for submitting a purchase?
Receipts for purchases made seven days ago or earlier are not accepted by our servers. Please make sure to submit your purchase receipts within seven days to be eligible for rewards.
6. Is there any limit for the number of trips I can submit?
There is no limit to the number of purchases you can submit each day, as long as these purchases are actually made by you or someone in your household. However, only the first ten purchases of the week that you register will be rewarded. Purchases recorded beyond the first ten will be counted but not rewarded.
7. How can I earn more coins?
The main feature that allows you to earn points is by registering your purchases. The more you register your purchases, the more points you earn.
You can also earn points by answering quick surveys and completing challenges (if you are eligible) that allow you to earn additional points.
8. What retailers are available for gift cards redemption?
We have partnerships with various retailers, and you can convert your accumulated points into gift cards at these select outlets. The list of retailers may vary, and you can check the app for the most up-to-date information
9. How often can I convert points into gift cards?
You can convert your points into gift cards at any time, subject to the minimum points required for redemption. Check the "Earn" section of the app via the navigation bar for current conversion rates and minimum points needed for each retailer. You can redeem a maximum of 2 gift cards per calendar month, regardless of the gift card's face value.
10. Is my personal informations safe?
Yes, your privacy is a top priority for us. We adhere to strict data protection policies, and your personal information is securely stored. We use the data only for market research purposes, and it is never shared with third parties without your consent.
11. How is my data used?
The data you share by submitting receipts, entering product details and answering surveys is anonymized and aggregated, only to create insights and market research reports about consumer behavior in your country.
12. Can I use ScanRewards internationally?
ScanrRewards is currently available in France and Germany. We are working to expand our reach, and updates on international availability will be communicated through the app.

15. Are there any limitations on earning rewards or redeeming gift cards?
Yes, we have the following limitations:
- Trip Time Limit : Any trips logged with a purchase receipt older than 7 days will not be rewarded.
- Trip Submission Limit: A user can be rewarded for a maximum of 10 valid trips per week. Any additional trips logged beyond this (i.e., the 11th and beyond) within the same week (Monday to Sunday) will not be rewarded.
- Gift Cards Redemption Limit: A user can redeem a maximum of 2 gift cards per calendar month, regardless of the gift cardF's face value.
